medicine head

I have this nasty cold and have been taking cold pills and cough syrup. I have the dreaded medicine head. I hope I am making sense because I can't think. I was up almost all night coughing. All I wanted to do was sleep, but noooo! As soon as I would lay down cough, cough, cough. So as much as I hated to do it, I called the doctor and got an appointment for 4:15 this afternoon. Hopefully, I will get something to relieve this hacking and will be able to get some sleep tonight.
