I NEED HELP
Is there any one out there reading this who is from the Chicago area? Rolling Meadows? I am looking for my husband. His name is Charles Fernandez, nickname Casey. I left Rolling Meadows 11 years ago and have not seen or heard from him since. I would like to obtain a simple uncontested divorce but have no idea where he lives. I don't even know if he is still in IL. I live in PA. I have to have a current address or know where he works to have him served with divorce papers. He doesn't even need to sign them, only served. I know he was or still is a union painter, but don't know what local. I think his parents still live in Rolling Meadows. They are Robert and Rosemary Fernandez. He was also a member of the Oddfellows from (I think) Carpentersville. If anyone can help me with any kind of information, I would be ever so grateful.

BEETLES, BEETLES, AND MORE BEETLES!!!
Can anyone help?! I live in Selinsgrove, PA and I love my gardens. This year has to be one of the worst I've seen for the infestation of Japanese Beetles. These little bastards have really got me pissed! All the planting, all the TLC, weeding, fertilizing, deadheading, pruning---it's a lot of work, but I love it. And now I'm sick. They are eating everything! I read some where not to put out traps because it will just attract more beetles! NO! I also have heard of milky spore, which is to be applied to the lawn to kill the grubs before they become beetles. Does this work? I am making a trip to the local nursery tomorrow to see if they have it. Please leave any helpful comments. Thanks and have a good day!

hotter than the hinges of hell!
It's the near the end of June here in Selinsgrove, PA and I mean to tell ya, summer has arrived! It has been 95 for 3 days and we still have another day to go, or so says the trusty weather person. After Thursdays wicked thunderstorms we should be able to turn off the air conditioners and go back out into the real world again. This is almost as bad as winter, having to be stuck in the house, just because of the weather. Funny, how you can always talk about the weather. Saturday is my daughter Ashley's 25th birthday. This, when I stop to think about it, seems almost impossible. What the hell happened to the last 25 years of my life. Well, we won't go there! HaHa!

May 1 YEAH!
Well, I haven't been on here for a while, so I thought I would get some things out of my head and off my chest. I am soooo glad that it is May! April really sucked. We had about 25 days of rain....ENOUGH! I am looking forward to getting outside to start planting some flowers and preparing my veggie garden. It's a cloudy day today, but the rest of the week is supposed to be beautiful. The weather guy better be right! I love spring. We had a spring clean-up day here, where you can get rid of all the junk you don't want. Old file cabinet, old carpet from the bedroom we are redoing, paint cans, and just bags of crap. It's nice to have the extra room, only to have more junk next year. Most of the house has been spring cleaned. Thing that don't ususally get done, like the dreaded cleaning of the mini blinds in the living room. I'm sure they will be on the junk pile next year. Moving furniture around to sweep under, cleaning under the stove and fridge, etc. So now that all that stuff is done, I think today I'll repot some of my house plants.

Mondays
How can Sundays be so boring? Then comes Monday. Sometimes just as boring. Not today. Got up at 5:30 am., which because of this stupid fucking around with the clocks all the time, it's actually 4:40 am! Packed up some breakfast and lunch for my sweetie, he headed out the door at 5:45. Did a load of laundry, filled out my Avon orders to send in today, took a shower, went to a doctor's appt. at 9:00, came home and took Hannibal for a 10 min. walk, had a 10:00 appt. with my Avon District Manager and got a phone call that Mike was coming to finish the ceiling in the bedroom we are finally getting done. Now that that's all done,*sigh* I thought I'd play on the computer a little while.

New Business venture
I have decided to sell AVON. Why? Well, I need something to do and something to earn some money. I like to have money to blow! This is my first week and so far I've gotten 1 paid order and the promise of at least 4 more. I would really like for this to work out. I think I should think of it more as a business than just something on the side. My first order goes in on the 12th. I suppose I'll have a better idea were this venture is going then. My first order was from my next door neighbor. Her name is Mae and she is 87 years old. She spent $68. God love her.
I have been feeling less blue the last couple of days. I contribute this to high doses of super B vitamins, trying to sell AVON, and that, that big hugh fire ball in the sky is shining brightly today which is enough to get anyone out of the dreaded winter funk.
